BlacK is a small garage band from Bradyville, Tn. They play a mixture of different styles of music, grunge all the way up to heavy thrash metal, but can be described more as a melodic progressive thrash metal band. The band started with just "Stik" (Cody Burnett) and "Jesus" (Michael Miller) chilling and jamming after school but later decided to start a band. They then recruited "Meathead" (Meliton Cancino) for lead vocalist and started the band Kurupded Syn. After writing 6 songs for Kurupded Syn they decided they needed a different name, one that could be remembered easily and then the band BlacK was born. Shortly after forming BlacK, they decided that in order to get the melodic thrash metal sound, they were going to need another guitarist. The band turned to long time friend "Dope" (Chris Warrick). The audition for Dope was merely just sitting down and write one song with lead guitarist, Jesus. This song was written in only a matter of minutes and filled the fourth member spot. Black is still looking for a permanent bassist and lyricists to to help get the songs completed. If you have any ideas for one of our songs, we will be more than obliged to use them if they are good and give you partial songwriter's credit depending on how much of the song you wrote.
